CSR Policy

Biomass Auctions - a company with opinions and responsibilities.

Our opinion:

Our business base is based on opening up the growing market for biomass - in all its forms, through our innovative and transparent internet auction Biomassauctions.com with the goal in every way of optimising trade between buyer and manufacturers/sellers, minimising transport and reducing the overall carbon footprint, and making it easier for heating plants to include their responsible users, their owners, and other stakeholders in the work of optimised operations.

Our mission is clear; we want to make the trade in biomass more transparent and also accessible to small manufacturers. Our goal is to inspire purchasers to develop their purchases, use the new tool - Biomassauctions.com and minimise their time spent on purchases and to ensure ongoing deliveries.

Our responsibility - CSR policy:

Biomass Auctions has a responsibility to our outside world to which our concept can contribute: increased focus and transparency in purchasing and much greater opportunity for local procurement as the purchasing process is facilitated and, thus, opens up for smaller deliveries where more people can participate and thereby make the market more dynamic.
Biomass Auctions assumes responsibility for good morals and business ethics.
We take this responsibility very seriously and have documented a code of ethics and crystal-clear attitude to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) within our organisation and set a requirement for our partners.
Biomass Auctions code of ethics and CSR policy are fully in line with the UN Global Compact but expanded with concrete examples to ensure understanding within the organisation, of subcontractors and customers.

Biomass Auctions - Supplement to the UN Global Compact:

Identifies users: Biomass Auctions checks all users' CVR identity before and after a sale and also respects all local and EU directives and any sanctions.
Product quality: Biomass Auctions carries out regular checks and follows buyers’ feedback on the quality delivered versus the quality required. Biomass Auctions may offer assistance for sustainability documentation/ certification where this is a buyer requirement, but where the seller does not meet the requirements in advance
Money laundering: To prevent money laundering, Biomass Auctions never receives cash payments.
Embezzlement: Biomass Auctions refrains from any cooperation where embezzlement is suspected.
No cash refunds:  Biomass Auctions processes all cases and transactions electronically and transparently and ensures appropriate documentation.
Gifts for external:  Biomass Auctions’ policy is that gifts are symbolic and never exceed the ceiling allowed by SKAT without disclosure.
Environment: Biomass Auctions does not assist with services where polluting and unapproved materials are traded on  Biomassauctions.com against applicable directives and conventions.
Anti-corruption:  Biomass Auctions opposes all forms of corruption, including extortion and bribery.
